and the smsing starts...

and the smsing starts...

“Kya hua??”
“Neend nahi aa rahi hai…”
“Mujhe bhi….”
………………
“Talking to binnu!! And montu, wo so gaya kya???”…
“Yes…… whats status there… Ankit so gaya???”
“Hmmm kabka…. Tabhi to tumhe msg kar rahi hu jaan…”

Seeing myself getting involved in the messaging, Binnu called her girlfriend Akku and started talking…
Messaging goes on and on for next 20 mins and then a 5 min break
Got her message at 12, “Sho … papa, mum n Ankit are fast asleep… terrace par aajao na… I wanna meet you”

Me: “Terrace par??? Arre kissi ne dekh liya, ya kissi ko pata lag gaya to raat ko hi ghar se bahar nikal denge….
Marwayegi kya”

She: “Arre sab gehri neend mei so rahe hai….. and ek baar sab so jaate hai to 2-3 baje se pehle to kissi ki neend bhi nahi khulegi… bhool gaye kya ki almost roz tumse raat 2-3 baje tak mei baat karti to thi jab tum Delhi mei the….. aajao I know koi nahi uthta hai ;-)”
Me: “Hmmm…. Ok chal fir aata hu”

Slowly without making any noise and informing Binnu (still on phone) I went to terrace….
The terrace door was open. The moment I entered she came and hugged me tightly. I was surprised for a couple of seconds and stood silent hugging her even more tightly for few seconds. Before I could say anything I realized that my shoulder was getting a little bit wet and then I heard some muffled crying sound.
She was crying… I was surprised.

Me: Sho kya hua???
She: ummm huuu… nothing kuch nahi hua
Me: then why are you crying??
She: arre m very very happy ki tum aaye and luckily wo traffic jam hua and you are here in front of me…. and m there in your arms…. Love you shona….
Me: Love you too shona….

And I kissed her to stop her crying… she responded back even more passionately. Didn’t know how long we kissed as after that we stood there with our eyes closed and her being in my arms, we were standing just moving our feet as if we were dancing on some soft romantic music which was being played in our hearts.

Then after some time we heard a couple of gongs…. I ignored that…. But then I’ve received a message. “O mere Romeo niche aaja, kaafi time ho gaya hai… ye to tujhe kal train mei bhi mil jaayegi….. pakda gaya to khud peetege aur hame bhi peetwayega ;-)”. I checked the time and was shocked….. It’s been 2 hours we’ve been standing in each other’s arms and we didn’t even realize it. I told her same and she smiled back and said “Jaanu… Jaane ka mann to nahi kar raha hai but shaayad jaana hi padega….. 2 baj gaye hai papa/mummy koi bhi kabhi bhi uth sakta hai. Aisa karna tum pehle jaana room mei pahunch jao to mujhe message kar dena fir mei aaungi…”

Me: ok…. But I need something….
She: what???
Me: A good night kiss

And then we kissed and departed to our own room…..

The Last Stoppage

Christmas day....

Left the houseboat around 11 and were on the road to Madurai, tomorrow evening from where we have train to our destination. Tomorrow one more friend will also be joining us on our return journey. Had our lunch at some midway on way back from Alleppy and by late afternoon we’ve reached to the hometown of that friend, Bodinayakanur, the place famous for cardamoms. We reached to the home, the family received us pretty well like we’ve been over there many a times. We relaxed over there for a few hours, roamed around with the friend and had the dinner with them at around 8. We had plans to leave in about an hour so that we can comfortably reach Madurai before midnight. That friend was supposed to come next day to Madurai and join us on our return trip.

But, when we were wrapping up after dinner uncle got a call from one of the assistants that he will visit him in morning or late morning as he is stuck in heavy traffic jam result of an accident on Madurai highway and was not sure when he’ll reach Bodinayakanur. Uncle informed us about the situation and said that leaving right now means only spending night in car only. Besides this we were also less interested in leaving as our driver was also tried as on drive during the day and we didn’t want to take risk of spending night in the car.

We were confused as what to do, and where to stay at night as the reason being it was Sia’s home and we were a little bit uncomfortable in spending the night over there. So we asked uncle if there is any hotel or lodge there where we can stay during the night. But to our surprise before uncle could’ve say anything aunty said, “Beta, tum log hamari Sia k dost ho, hamare mehmaan ho. Aur mehmaan ko hotel mei nahi ghar mei tehraya jaata hai.” And then uncle added, “Arre isse apna hi ghar samjho, feel comfortable and don’t worry sab adjust ho jaayega.”

Listening this we were happy (especially me) as I’ve got some more time to spent with her. Although there is a train journey ahead but still no matter how much time we got it remains less. After finalizing this we three decided to go out for a walk in the town to look the Christmas lighting in local market and churches. She and her younger brother Ankit too joined us after taking permission from their parents. Ankit was very much interested in latest gadgets and so is Montu. Knowing this I started the topic asking Ankit about his laptop and games that he have, and slowly Montu and Binnu took over the discussions, and I sidelined from the discussion.

Gradually we’ve divided in two groups as in Montu, Binnu and Ankit discussing the latest games and gadgets and me & Sia walking a few steps behind them with our hands in hand and talking about her stay at home. It was only 10 when we started and the town was deserted, so we walked in almost empty market for about 40-45 mins and then returned back to their place. By then it was almost 11 and our arrangement was done in the guest room.

11.15 - everyone went to their room wishing each other good night.

11.30 - Montu was fast asleep and snoring whereas me and Binnu were generally talking.

11.35 – I got a message, “Shona, so gaye kya?? Kya kar rahe ho????” I replied “No. talking to binnu” and then our smsing started.......

The Kerala Trip

21st Dec 2008

Reached Madurai at 6 am, the cab was already there waiting for us at station. The trip has begun. We took the car and left immediately for Munnar. Reached hotel in there at around 10, ours was a nice room facing hills full of green tea leaves.

22nd – 24th Dec 2008

Roamed around in Munnar and Thekkady during the day, had a night jungle safari and then 24 hours in the house boat in Alleppey to relax ourselves from exertion we had during last three tiring days.

Trip to South begins…

Trip to South begins…

Landed in B’lore in the morning and there at airport Binnu and Montu were waiting for me. Montu also came on same day, landed only half an hour earlier before I did. From there we moved to Montu’s place, rested for a while, get ready and then stepped out to explore the Bangalore.

In the evening Binnu had to attend some office friend’s wedding, so I and Montu stepped out of the home to explore the vicinity (in particular nearby malls and to have dinner) on our own.

It was a nice mall, but not different from what’s there in NCR or in Mumbai. The only difference is in the food court where you’ll find restaurants of local items. Meanwhile it was a nice mall, we passed some time there and had dinner and return back to the home.

Binnu returned early morning on next day. Today, in the evening we will be leaving for Kerala. Meanwhile we left his home around 11 to visit a couple of places in B’lore. We went to Science Museum it was amazing, we didn’t realized how our day passed. In the evening we were back took our luggage and went to railway station to catch the train to Madurai.

Let the trip begin.
